welcome to the site

I've been into this stuff for over 25 years now.. from skating and riding Bedford Square (gone...), all the spots, ghetto set-ups and ramps/parks we've had in Exeter... to parks and spots all over this country and others.. running contests, entering contests, doing photos & words for 'Ride' mag, and for the last 10 years, this, the Boarding House.

To me, running a local shop is the best combination of all, a real shop where you can check where the parks are, use the tools to fix your stuff, meet up..

This shop has been part of the Exeter scene since '84, here's to more! Thanks for your support.

Yeah I'd been waiting for this, I knew there had to be a spot on the team coming up, cos Batesy, well, he's not really doing it now is he, plus I heard he's a mountain biker now anyway. Savage!

Mount Hawke has a BMX contest coming on the 23rd of March, read about it and get directions here

The long awaited redbull Empire of Dirt will take place July 25-26th (weather permiting), if you haven't already got tickets check out the my space page for news, pictures, etc. Also visit themoVmentbmx for the latest Forte designs and news

Speaking of contests in July the 'Exe Games' (previously 'Oblivion') will be happening again at Flowerpots on the 3rd of August

A new shop spot guide will be coming out soon, we had to update it because of all the new parks. It'll be on the website & in the shop a.s.a.p. Also there'll be new boarding house deck designs coming in spring!

Arena skatepark (Exeter) is being repaired, there were problems with the transitions so everything's gradually been tweaked. the quarter's done driveway coming soon
